Mount Rushmore National Memorial
The Presidential Rock is located on the southeastern slope of Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, USA. It is the largest human face sculpture in the world. Mount Rushmore is named "Presidential Mountain" because of the portraits of four U.S. presidents carved on the mountain. The four presidents are George Washington, the founding president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, the third U.S. president who was one of the drafters of the Declaration of Independence, Abraham Lincoln, the president who maintained the unity of the United States and won the Civil War, the father of modern America, The 26th President Theodore Roosevelt. According to historical data, as many as 360 American sculptors participated in this magnificent project at that time. In 1939, the huge project of the cliff face statue, commonly known as "President Hill", was finally completed in all aspects. Since then, the "National Mount Rushmore Memorial Site" has been presented to people with a new look. The "Presidential Mountain", which was excavated and carved by the mountain, on the dignified, dignified, majestic, and bare granite peaks of the past, now stands on the top of George Wharton, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Giant busts of Roosevelt's four presidents. Although the faces are not facing in one direction, they echo each other harmoniously, with a solemn appearance and piercing eyes, staring straight ahead. The closed lips reveal wisdom and perseverance, each revealing different character traits, and the great man's temperament emerges spontaneously.
