The Miluo River originates in Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province, and flows into Dongting Lake at the Miluo River Estuary. Its main stream, totaling 253 kilometers, is divided into two branches: the Miluo River in the south and the Luoshui River in the north. Zhangjiajie Scenic Area refers to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which together with Tianzi Mountain, Suoxiyu, and Yangjiajie forms the Wulingyuan attraction. Because Zhangjiajie National Forest Park was developed early and is well-known, even Zhangjiajie City was renamed after it, and people are accustomed to using Zhangjiajie National Forest Park or Zhangjiajie Scenic Area to refer to the Wulingyuan attraction. "Three thousand exotic peaks and eight hundred beautiful waters." The three thousand exotic peaks, in particular, are renowned worldwide. The environment was beautiful, but the games were just average, the rules were inconsistent, and the game questions were somewhat questionable. The performances were uninteresting and not as good as street shows. I mainly went to Qu Yuan Temple, and there weren't many people during the May Day holiday.

As the source of Chinese Dragon Boat Festival culture, Miluo River not only has beautiful natural scenery, winding river, green mountains on both sides, and clear water, forming a beautiful landscape painting, but also carries a profound historical and cultural heritage. This is the place where Qu Yuan jumped into the river. The grand dragon boat race every year during the Dragon Boat Festival is a legacy of Qu Yuan's memory. Traditional arts such as Hunan opera, folk songs and dances have also taken root here, and Hunan style and Chu charm have been passed down from generation to generation.

Orange Island is a bit of a mixed experience, and I'm honestly not entirely sure whether I'd consider it a must-visit in Changsha.It's a large, green, and pleasant park, with beautiful riverside views and plenty of space for walking. If you enjoy places with historical significance or simply want to experience a different side of the city, it's definitely worth considering.Most visitors seem to take the sightseeing train to the southern end of the island, where the famous Mao Zedong statue is located. That's also where you'll find plenty of people taking photos, so don't expect a particularly quiet experience.The main downside is that visiting the island takes quite a bit of time, especially if you want to explore it properly. And while it's certainly a nice place, I'm not sure the experience justifies spending several hours here if you have a limited amount of time in Changsha and other places you'd like to see.On the other hand, if you're simply looking for a relaxing walk through a green park, with opportunities to stop by the river and enjoy the scenery, it's a lovely option.Overall, I'd say it's worth visiting if you have some extra time or are particularly interested in Chinese history. Otherwise, I wouldn't necessarily put it at the very top of your Changsha itinerary.

Ren Bishi’s former residence is a red tourist attraction. You can visit the place where Ren Bishi once lived, receive red education, and be influenced by the red culture. It is very interesting and worth recommending to everyone. It is a good choice!

Last week, I went to Dongting Lake with friends. When we arrived in the morning, a thin mist was floating on the lake, creating a very atmospheric scene. We strolled along the lakeside path, enjoying the cool breeze carrying the moisture. We stopped at a roadside stall for some delicious fish; it was incredibly fresh. In the afternoon, we took a boat tour, where we could see the vast expanse of the lake, with Junshan Island appearing and disappearing in the distance. We spent the whole day there without getting bored, and every photo we took looked beautiful. I definitely want to bring my family back next time! 🌊

An amazing experience, even with the mist!I absolutely loved visiting Tianmen Mountain! Even though it was very misty and cloudy, and we could barely see the stunning views, we still had a wonderful time exploring and walking along all the different trails. The pathways were very safe, comfortable, and well-maintained, making the whole experience really enjoyable. Despite the weather, it was definitely worth visiting, and I would love to come back on a clear day!

We visited Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in early November and it was one of the most impressive places of our whole trip. The sandstone pillars rising out of the forest look unreal, and it's easy to see why they inspired the floating mountains in Avatar. Every viewpoint feels like a painting, and when the mist moves between the peaks it's simply magical.A few practical notes. The park is big and there's a lot of walking and stairs, so wear comfortable shoes and plan your routes in advance. The park buses make it easier to get between areas. Popular viewpoints can get crowded, so starting early helps. The weather changes quickly, so bring a rain jacket.Overall, absolutely worth it. A must-see if you're travelling in China.
