Glacier Point Viewpoint is located at the end of the summit road, where you can enjoy a commanding panoramic view of Yosemite. Before that, there was a large viewing platform called Washburn Point on the side of the road, where you could see Spring Falls and Winter Falls. When you finally reach the top of the mountain, you will be intoxicated by the sight, the clouds and mist lingering under your feet, and the deep imprint of the glacier on the landscape in front of you. In addition to this, it is an ideal place to watch the sunrise, which is often visited by many people when the weather is good.Mariposa County · 43.7 km from downtown

Yosemite Valley, at an altitude of over 1,200 m, occupies less than 1% of the park's total area, yet it encapsulates the essence ofYosemite National Park. With its mountains, water, and waterfalls, the stunning scenery is truly a fairyland on earth. The valley is a popular area for visitors, so finding parking when driving here can be quite difficult. Taking the free park shuttle is much more convenient. Additionally, the weather in the mountains is unpredictable, so you might want to carry a raincoat in case of a sudden downpour.Mariposa County · 41.3 km from downtown

Golden Gate Park is a large urban green space in San Francisco, covering approx. 1,017 acres and stretching approx. 4.8 km from east to west, spanning the Richmond District and Sunset District in the western part of San Francisco. This land was originally barren coastal sand dunes, and has been gradually transformed into the lush, large park it is today through continuous tree planting and sand stabilization efforts since the 1870s. The park features a rich variety of landscapes, where cultural facilities and natural scenery intertwine. The eastern section is home to cultural institutions such as the California Academy of Sciences, the de Young Museum, and the Japanese Tea Garden, while the northern section features historic buildings like the Conservatory of Flowers. The park's natural and recreational areas are equally diverse. Stow Lake surrounds Strawberry Hill at the center, where pedal boats can be rented. In the western part of the park stand two historic windmills, the Dutch Windmill and the Murphy Windmill, with tulip gardens nearby. The Bison Paddock has been in the park since the late 19th century, and you can still see the herd of bison roaming within the enclosure today. Spreckels Lake is a gathering place for model sailboat enthusiasts, with exquisite miniature sailboats often sailing on the water. The park also features a disc golf course, a lawn bowling club, and a skate park, with cycling trails running throughout the entire park.United States · San Francisco

Palace of Fine Artsis located in the Marina District in the northern part of San Francisco, United States, and is a well-preserved historic building that attracts many visitors. The building was designed by American architect Bernard Maybeck, who drew inspiration from ancient Roman and Greek architecture, shaping the palace into an ancient ruin that seems to have weathered the passage of time. The towering dome, solemn colonnades, and a design style with a touch of imperfection give the entire structure a tranquil and poetic sense of age beyond its grandeur. Approaching the building, you can see the towering dome and elegant curved colonnades surrounding the lake, which, together with the surrounding open water, form a tranquil, scenic view. This palace is not just a historic building, but a public space that blends architectural aesthetics, natural scenery, and cultural memory.United States · San Francisco

CA-1 is a highly iconic coastal self-drive route on the West Coast of the United States, stretching over 1,000 km along the Pacific coastline and connecting coastal towns from the San Francisco Bay Area, Monterey, Big Sur, San Simeon, and Morro Bay all the way to Los Angeles. Its highlight is concentrated in the Big Sur section between Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and San Simeon: the road winds along steep cliffs, with the surging Pacific Ocean on one side and mountains and redwood forests on the other. There are many scenic parking areas along the way where you can pull over at any time to enjoy the sea breeze and watch the waves crash against the cliffs. There are several highly recognizable scenes along this section: the Bixby Bridge, which spans the canyon, is an elegantly designed concrete arch bridge, and there are almost always vehicles parked at the bridgehead for photos; McWay Falls in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park drops directly from the cliff top onto the beach in the cove, making it a rare beach waterfall in California; the sand at Pfeiffer Beach has a faint purple hue due to the weathering of manganese garnet in the cliffs; further south in the San Simeon area, groups of northern elephant seals can be seen sunbathing on the beach year-round, and you can also visit Hearst Castle on the mountain nearby. The Old Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey at the northern end and the town of Carmel-By-The-Sea also have their own unique charm.United States · Monterey County

Yosemite has the majestic El Capitan, the tranquil valleys, the towering trees, and rowing in the clear pools in the valley. The air is very fresh. This is the beauty that we cannot experience in big cities. It is really great!

There are quite a lot of cars in this area, and there are even some small traffic jams. Many people will stop at this viewing point because it offers a relatively high view of places like the Half Dome.

Good value for what you get. A bit old and funky, but not in a bad way. Nice balcony. Central location. Lots of stuff nearby, including Yosemite Falls. Easy shuttle access. Power did go out one night for about 3.5 hours, and if it hadn’t come back on I think the room would have been too cold to stay; nighttime temp was 13°

Fisherman's Wharf was bustling and a bit chaotic. Sea lions lay sprawled on wooden planks, howling, their fishy smell wafting from afar. Bowls of clam chowder were piping hot, served while street performers sipped. Crab stalls lined the streets, piles of red shells high; you'd crack open a claw and pop a crab into your mouth, your fingers smeared with butter. A rickshaw clanged past, tourists craning their necks to watch—nothing particularly special, just a lively, down-to-earth atmosphere.

This is a relatively large park near the Golden Gate Bridge, called Golden Gate Park. Most tourists will not go to this attraction specifically, but since we are traveling independently, we can visit it in a more relaxed manner. The environment design of this park is unparalleled and it is worth checking out.

Highway 1 in California, USA, connects San Francisco and Los Angeles from north to south. It winds along the west coast of the United States from San Diego in the south to Leggett in the northernmost part of California where it joins Highway 101. It is over 1,000 kilometers long. On one side is the vast sea and sky, the waves crashing against the shore, the sailboats, and the gray whales swimming; on the other side are steep cliffs and mountains, lush pastures, herds of cattle and horses, and the scenery is breathtaking. This road is known as the most beautiful road in the world and was also rated as one of the 50 places you must visit in your life by the National Geographic magazine of the United States.

The campus is open and has no walls. There is a large lawn in the middle that is sunken and below the ground. There are parking spaces around it. It is very comfortable to lie on the grass. There are many attractions on the entire campus, and this is just one of them.

As I stepped into this mountain forest, it felt as if the whole world had fallen silent. There was no hustle and bustle, no clamor of voices, only the gentle rustling of the wind through the treetops and the soft murmur of a distant stream. The winding path, paved with bluestone and earth, was flanked by lush vegetation, layers upon layers of green, as if nature had meticulously painted it with the finest brushstrokes. The air was filled with a moist freshness; a deep breath felt as if my very lungs were being cleansed. Occasionally, a dewdrop would slide from the tip of a leaf, dripping onto a stone with a soft sound, like the heartbeat of the mountain. Squirrels leaped among the branches, birds flitted through the woods, neither avoiding nor disturbing people, as if they had long been accustomed to coexisting with travelers. I walked slowly along the path, the soft rustling of fallen leaves under my feet like the whispers of the mountains. Upon reaching the summit, the view opened up dramatically: mountains like dark ink paintings, a sea of clouds surging, as if heaven and earth had opened their arms to me at that moment. Standing in the wind, I suddenly realized that life doesn't always have to be a chase. Sometimes, simply stopping, looking at the mountains, and listening to the wind is enough to rediscover oneself. It turns out that the deepest insights often lie hidden in the quietest moments. This mountain never displays its ruggedness, but embraces every visitor with its gentle warmth. In spring, new buds sprout, their tender greenness like the earth just awakening; in summer, dense shade and cool breezes create a natural retreat from the heat; in autumn, the forests are ablaze with color, a vibrant tapestry of hues, like an overturned palette; in winter, it is draped in silver, serene and profound, revealing its inherent strength. Through the changing seasons, it steadfastly and calmly enacts the cycle of life. I once strolled after a rain shower, the air filled with the fragrance of earth and grass, the soft rustling of fallen leaves underfoot like the mountain's whisper. The stream meandered among the rocks, crystal clear, occasionally teeming with small, lively fish. The pavilions scattered among the mountains blend seamlessly with the scenery, appearing as if they were part of nature itself. Leaning against the railing, I gazed into the distance, watching the clouds drift and the sky unfold, and my heart opened up. In that moment, I suddenly understood that true beauty is never deliberately crafted, but rather flows naturally, like water finding its own path. It turns out that the distant place we seek has always been right beside us, waiting only for a heart willing to discover it.
