Bellver Castle

Bellver Castle is situated on a hillside in Palma and served as a Gothic summer palace for the Kings of Mallorca. True to its name, which means 'castle of beautiful views,' the castle allows you to overlook the entire city of Palma and the Bay of Palma. However, this 14th-century castle features a circular design that contrasts with its overall Gothic style, a style that is quite rare in Spain. Interestingly, the castle was also used as a prison before the 20th century.Comarca de Palma · 10 km from Magalluf
Cala Major

Cala Major

4.1
Cala Major is a beach that seamlessly blends urban living with a seaside escape. With its soft, fine golden sand and crystal-clear blue waters, it is backed by steep cliffs and palm trees, creating a sense of being close to the city while feeling worlds away from the hustle and bustle. The adjacent walking path and coastal promenade connect lush palm groves with coastal architecture, lined with restaurants, cafes, and bars. By day, you can sunbathe, go diving, or enjoy a meal at a seaside restaurant. By evening, take a stroll in the sea breeze and watch the skyline shift from azure to orange. Beyond its own appeal, the nearby Marivent Palace was once the summer residence of the Spanish royal family, and world-renowned painter Joan Miró lived and worked here, imbuing the area with both the relaxed vibe of a sunny coast and a depth of art and history.Comarca de Palma · 8.3 km from Magalluf

Up and down the winding mountain road, you can see terraced fields made of stones in the mountains, and the fields are planted with crops such as olive trees, which are green. The Arab Baths in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, is a historic architectural monument that showcases the cultural influence of the Moors on the island of Mallorca. One of the few remaining Moorish buildings in Palma, the baths were built between the 10th and 12th centuries and embody the unique style and craftsmanship of Islamic architecture. The architectural style of the baths is a blend of Byzantine and Islamic features, and only two main rooms remain: a bathroom and a dressing room. Its iconic dome features five skylights for natural light, while the 12 stone columns supporting the structure were taken from earlier Romanesque buildings, showing the layers of history. In 1931, the building was listed as a Spanish cultural heritage and has become one of Palma's important historical landmarks. The Arab Baths is not only an architectural wonder, but also a cultural heritage that reflects the rich history and multicultural blend of Mallorca. It offers visitors an opportunity to explore the art of Islamic architecture and understand the Moorish lifestyle, and is a historical attraction not to be missed in Palma de Mallorca.Palma de Mallorca · 12.3 km from Magalluf

[Scenery] After visiting the Banys Arabs Baths, we drove back to the city and happened to catch the Olive Garden Market. Sometimes there is also a flea market, which is a very interesting place to shop. [Fun] There are many snacks, and there are a hundred ways to cook olives... They look so sour, haha
