Things to do in Luoping

The scenic area is quite large. Take the 20 yuan shuttle bus to the top of the mountain, then descend, saving you energy. At the largest waterfall below, take a bamboo raft down to feel the spray – refreshing and invigorating. It's usually not crowded, so overall it feels like great value for money.

The scenery at the scenic spot was beautiful, but unfortunately the flowers bloomed earlier this year, and we arrived too late to see the last vestiges. The scenic area is worth visiting, but I have to complain about the female driver we booked through the ride-hailing app. She was incredibly dishonest; she demanded we cancel the order and settle things with her privately in the car. We ignored her, but later, when we needed to go to another scenic spot and hailed her again, she demanded we pay more than the original price and again tried to get us to settle things with her privately. I immediately pulled my family out of the car and blocked her! I'd rather not go to that place than let someone like that get away with it!

It is a rapeseed flower base with many rapeseed flowers growing well. It is a good place for taking pictures with children. Then, you can also come here to experience the field scenery, fly kites and relax.

This time we went there just in time for the flood season, and the water was particularly high. The rafting was stopped, so we could only take a battery car for a round trip, which was 6 kilometers one way. They would stop at the scenic spots in the middle for us to take pictures. The scenery was still good. Next time I have the chance, I must come in the summer to experience rafting.

The unique feature of Luositian (Spiral Fields) lies in its beaded karst funnel landform. The landform is circular, funnel-shaped, and ranges in depth from 10 to 50 meters. The fields radiate outwards from a small basin in the center, ranging from three or four levels to more than ten, resembling the spiral patterns on a screw from a distance. This is not an ordinary flat flower field, but a circular terraced field within a karst landscape. Viewed from above, it spirals down layer by layer, truly like the fingerprints of the earth or the spiral patterns of a screw. Sunlight filters through, and the patches of green and yellow in the terraces appear as if God has spilled his palette.

I came here because of its reputation. The biggest advantage of traveling in the off-season is fewer crowds, making for a very pleasant experience. Today it was 32 degrees Celsius, a bit sunny. The waterfall's flow wasn't high due to the dry season, but overall, the scenery was still very enjoyable. [Process] Travel Suggestions: For those who can handle hiking, I recommend entering from the East Gate. For someone like me who isn't very active, the steps weren't too difficult. It wasn't particularly challenging; it was basically just a few steps, a gentle slope, and only two or three steep sections. Overall, it was easy to climb. The scenic area isn't very large; you can see it all in an hour or two. If you want to experience the attractions, you might need more time. [Round Pin] Transportation and Parking: I heard online that you park your car at the East Gate and take a shuttle bus to the West Gate. To be honest, the fare was really expensive—20 yuan per person. I think 10 to 15 yuan per person would be more reasonable. But since it's a private car, unlike the shuttle buses in the scenic area that wait until almost everyone is on board, I figured 20 yuan was fine, and I just booked a private car with my family. We went there in March and saw the rapeseed flowers in Luoping and the Little Three Gorges Canyon. The scenery of the canyon is beautiful, with steep mountains, mirror-like water, blue sky and white clouds, and golden rapeseed flowers. It was a great trip! The wind on the river is strong, so be prepared with windproof clothes.

The scenery is super beautiful. Both times we stayed for a short time. I am looking forward to staying here for a night to enjoy the sunrise. I heard that the clouds at sunrise are more beautiful.
