I really enjoyed my time at Patong Beach. The beach has a lively atmosphere, and there was always something happening, from people playing in the water to vendors selling snacks and drinks. The sand was clean enough for relaxing, and the sea was warm, although it could get crowded during the afternoon. I stayed until sunset, and the view was beautiful with the sky changing to shades of orange and pink. After that, I walked around the nearby streets where there were plenty of restaurants, shops, and places to enjoy the evening. It was convenient because everything was within walking distance. If you prefer a quiet beach, this may not be the best choice, but if you enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with lots of activities, Patong Beach is definitely worth visiting. I would happily come back for another relaxing evening by the sea.

This time I came to Phuket and stayed at JW Marriott, which is right next to Mai Khao Beach. Compared with Patong and other beaches, there are few tourists here and it is very quiet. There are several seafood restaurants on the beach where you can eat authentic Thai food. The crayfish here are very fresh and delicious. You can also watch the sunset while eating dinner. The scenery is great. At sunset in the evening, there are people leading elephants on the beach. You can buy some food to feed the elephants and take some photos.

Wat Chalong, is the largest Buddhist temple on Phuket. The largest pagoda is 61.4 meters high and contains the relics of Phra Borom Sareerikatat and a Buddha statue enshrining 108 golden Buddhas. The pagoda combines the architectural styles of southern, central and northeastern Thailand and is the first place in the region to house this holy relic.
