The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, located at the junction of Tennessee and North Carolina, has about 10 million tourists every year and is the most visited national park in the United States. In 1983, UNESCO listed the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as a natural heritage and included it in the World Heritage List. The park covers an area of 200,000 hectares, and since it has not been destroyed by humans, it provides a relatively favorable environment for plants to grow. It is home to 3,500 species of plants and many endangered animals, especially where the world's largest group of salamanders is found. It is not only rich in natural heritage, but also has a long cultural history. Here you can learn about the way of life of early peasant families and communities living in the southern Appalachian Mountains. Many historic buildings still stand, and 97 historic buildings are concentrated in 5 areas, including: lumberjack sheds, barns, churches, rice mills and various other outdoor structures. However, these ancestors changed from difficult survival to predatory development. The logging industry almost destroyed the original forest in this area, and restoration has become the theme of today. Parks provide unique resources for outdoor recreation. You can stroll through the greenery and hike in the backcountry. Camping, fishing, outings, horseback riding, or just beautiful scenery are all great ways to relax. Four seasons are good seasons for traveling here. The mountains are blooming in spring, camping by the cool stream in summer, the leaves flying in autumn, and the quiet and pleasant in winter. The blue sky is always a very good reason for sightseeing.Sevier County · 51.7 km from Knoxville

Atlanta is the hometown of Martin Luther King, Jr., a famous black civil rights leader, and was one of the centers of the American black civil rights movement in the 1960s. Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous speech "I Have a Dream" has long since become a masterpiece. After his assassination, his body was buried in the Ebenezer Christ Church cemetery. In 1973, Atlanta became the first city in the southern United States to be elected mayor by a black man. There's a hall with some videos about the life of Martin Luther King, Jr., and there's a pool in the square with the sarcophagi of Martin and his wife, and there's a burning flame next to it.United States · Atlanta

I absolutely adore Freedom Park! As a first-time visitor to Charlotte, I had an incredible experience in this sophisticated city, particularly with its upscale dining and delightful breakfast options. The park itself offers beautiful and enjoyable walks, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. Everything about my visit was simply fantastic! I highly recommend it to everyone!

The Martin Luther King National Historic Site is more than just a tourist attraction. It is a microcosm of a profound history. Here you can learn about the background, development and achievements of the American civil rights movement through exhibitions, explanations and guided tours. The site includes Martin Luther King's birthplace, church, memorial hall and the graves of him and his wife Coretta Scott King. For tourists who want to understand the history of American civil rights, especially the social changes in the 1960s, this is undoubtedly a must-visit place.

This place has been closed for a long time. It's empty when you walk past it. Don't go there again. I thought I could buy something. I asked the store next to it. I found out that both the upper and lower floors are closed. I don't know why. I can only go to other places nearby.

Beautiful area for hiking and suitable for all fitness levels. Dog friendly, and you can customize your day easily around each waterfall you want to see. We did around 5 different short 1 mile hikes around the park and took us around 1/2 a day exploring. Winter is the best time to go as you can really see the falls open up!
