This day trip went even better than expected. The driver arranged each activity perfectly according to schedule, and the two couples of Korean and Thai friends in our group were also very cooperative and followed the itinerary. The whole trip was perfect, the only downside was that we left too early 😮‍💨. Unfortunately, we couldn't miss the sunrise over the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, so we had to get up and leave in the dark. However, we returned early, arriving back at our guesthouse a little after 5 pm. Overall, the trip was quite pleasant. One thing to mention is the Impression Lijiang show, which I went to see because of Zhang Yimou, but it completely disappointed me 😓. The performers worked very hard, but the audience didn't seem to get it 🥱, and I was drowsy in the sun 😪. I personally think this is definitely not a must-see for independent travelers. As for the sunrise over the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Blue Moon Valley, and climbing the mountain, they are definitely worth it.

"Achieving the pinnacle of Lijiang tourism" is the best way to sum up this Jade Dragon Snow Mountain day tour. Our driver, Mr. Mu, was already picking up guests from various hotels in the city at around 5:00 AM. Thank you for your hard work. With seven of us in total, the car was just right—not too uncomfortable, but not too strenuous either. Mr. Mu provided meticulous care throughout the trip, clearly outlining key itinerary details, calling to check on our progress, and offering all the necessary support. For lunch, we had the simple but delicious cured pork rib hot pot. From picking up the car around 5:00 AM to returning to our hotel at around 4:00 PM, it was a truly fulfilling and enriching experience, punctuated by the achievement of reaching the summit of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. This tour was a perfect choice.

The tour guide was great! The only downside was a flat tire while watching the sunrise over the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which was a bit of a mood killer… Then we spent quite a while at the oxygen shop, since we were there to see the sunrise, and it was early, cold, and dark… We had to buy their medication and oxygen to prevent altitude sickness, and listen to safety instructions, waiting for almost an hour. Hopefully, the wait time can be reduced later! At the scenic area, we couldn't get in at first when picking up our tickets; hopefully, they can improve their service and professionalism in the future… Lunch was just average, but the tour guide took great care of us! Climbing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was quite tiring overall, but the scenery was beautiful and definitely worth it.

Today's trip completely exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide took us this morning to catch the moment the sun shone brightly on the snowy peaks. The golden light bathed the snow-capped peaks, leaving us speechless. Every photo we took was a masterpiece! Blue Moon Valley was absolutely stunning. The lake was a jewel-blue, and the sun even changed colors, making any photo look stunning. I especially want to praise our tour guide. She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire trip, helping us prepare oxygen tanks, snowsuits, mineral water, and more in advance. The itinerary was incredibly detailed. We were a little slow at Blue Moon Valley, but she was incredibly helpful and immediately resolved any issues we encountered. She was incredibly reliable! It was a comfortable and enjoyable trip, highly recommended!

Please download WeChat if you want to purchase this tour, the driver pick me up at 0800:) we talked via translate or WeChat :) Yes, you need oxygen, but driver will provide oxygen and water. I do hike, but this one really need oxygen 😅 Experience wise, amazing :) I just don’t have anyone to take photo but I asked the traveller too😂 They will let you explore on your own, but it was worth the pay. The light meal was rice with hotpot:) The performance was good as well though I can’t understand 😂 but there’s a monitor in English you can read it while they are performing. And you’ll enter in VIP gate 😂The moon valley was spectacular. You need to wear think clothes, and snow shoes. It was snowing when I explore this area. I bring my umbrella too. Good thing the driver give me Jacket/raincoat it ease my cold body 😂 Overall, worth the pay and recommended 101🫶 Bring your power bank too. For sure you’ll battery will be flat a lot of things to capture 🫶
