After booking, the service provider quickly contacted us to confirm the itinerary. We booked a 7-seater vehicle, and they provided a Buick 7-seater minivan, which was very comfortable and clean. Driver Mr. Du was very enthusiastic and attentive, dropping us off at the closest possible points with minimal walking distances – very thoughtful and considerate. Highly recommended!

This is a hired car service. Not guide service. Driver contacted us at 2pm one day prior to arrange pickup and broad itinerary. Clear and responsive communications in English. Punctual in pickup. Driver kept us on schedule for our train ride. Day (830am to 330pm) was relaxed, covering Hanging Temple (945am to 1pm, no climbing, had lunch) and Yingxian Pavilion (30min photo stop). We wanted to climb Hanging Temple and Driver advised that we need to leave at 5am to join the Q for morning climbs - we decided against that and still enjoyed the site on a chilly drizzling Sep morning. When we arrived at Hanging Temple, we saw on the ticket sales noticeboards that all morning climb tickets were sold out and afternoon climb tickets were available. Recommend car hire for flexibility in itinerary and luggage handling. Driver shares that it is possible to didi back and forth (Ancient City, Hanging Temple, Train Station) but would be stressed on time.

We’re starting the trip on 7 AM from our hotel and managed to get the Hanging Temple’s climbing tickets. The driver, Mr Liu are very communicative, accommodative, and making us rest assured while the trip on going. He always accompany us until the entrance gate. The taxi that he brought is also clean and neat. We finish our trip on 4 PM and it was a good trip to explore datong and the culture.
