Visiting the Terracotta Warriors has been one of the most breathtaking highlights of my trip. Our tour guide, Luna, made the experience even more special—she was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the rich history behind this world wonder.
We also watched the Terracotta Show, which is an absolute must-see! The performance was so immersive that we truly felt like VVIP guests. Everything was well organized, smooth, and unforgettable.

It was really good. The tour guide was very nice and easy to talk to. The introductions were good, his English was excellent, and the pacing was well-controlled. After each segment, there was time for photos.
I recommend "Resurrection of the Legion" to foreign friends. Although it's a simple story, it's surprisingly suitable for foreign tourists. Not only does it have an interpreter, but my foreign friend was also very pleased with the costumes and props, finding them very novel and authentically Qin Dynasty-themed.
Finally, as for the attractions, the Terracotta Warriors are a must-see, but the commercial town at the entrance is a bit ordinary. Huaqing Hot Springs seems underdeveloped and relies entirely on imagination. However, the Tang Dynasty architecture inside is beautiful and has a long-lasting appeal, not the commercial, neo-nationalistic style.★

I was well aware that traveling during China's National Day holiday, the peak of crowding, would be challenging. However, I was determined to see the Terracotta Army during my stay in China, which led me to visit Xi'an. My Chinese colleagues had strongly advised me to hire a guide. After carefully reviewing my options the day before, I decided to book this specific tour. As a Japanese traveler, I noted that Japanese-speaking guides were available. Still, I chose an English-guided tour in hopes of interacting with people from other countries. The result was a fantastic success! Louis, our guide, has 28 years of experience at the Terracotta Army and knows the site inside and out. Despite the overwhelming crowds, he managed to guide us through extremely smoothly. His skill in organizing the group and breaking the ice at the start was remarkable, making him an exceptionally well-suited guide for leading a cohesive tour.★
