Wow this tour was fantastic. Our guide was so knowledgeable. We stopped on many beautiful viewpoints on the way to Milford Sound. There were sufficient toilet breaks and the bus was super comfortable. The boat trip was incredible, what a stunning place. It was even better in the rain as the waterfalls were in full force. I would strongly recommend proper rain gear if the forecast is for rain so you can be outside on the boat for viewing (But there is also an option to stay indoors). We saw penguins and Kea which were an added bonus. Book this tour!

We absolutely loved our cruise with Mitre Peak! The boat was clean and we were very pleased when we got on board and saw how well maintained the chairs and tables were. Who needs a lunch buffet when all you really want to do is look at the beautiful views outside. We were so lucky to have had a partially sunny day, the falls were still flowing and we sa bottle nose dolphins, 1 cute as penguin and 3 fur seals. The commentary from the captain was great and informative. Top tip take something to eat as there is no food for sale but there is free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. We took instant cup noodles and used the hot water that was available.


