We had a wonderful afternoon in the dunes. The landscapes and views that our guide Christiaan showed us were truly unique. The beautiful evening light, in particular, made the dunes appear surreal, so I can highly recommend the Sunset Tour over the other options, especially since we were almost alone, as the other tours were already on their way back. Christiaan was a very nice guide; he told us all sorts of things about Sandwich Harbour, the animals, and life in Namibia. We would definitely recommend him.

It was an incredible experience. Our guide, Hugo, shared so much information with us on the way to the seals that the drive alone was incredibly enriching. Kayaking with the seals is amazing fun and an unforgettable experience! Compared to other providers, the value for money is unbeatable. I would book it again in a heartbeat!

Leon drove us on a private tour to see the charming seaside town of Swakopmund where we admired the German influenced character of this town with its wide streets and beerstube, and cafés. Then out to the stony desert to the enigmatic moon landscape and a little oasis in the heart of it. Amazing rock formations. Finally the special Welwitschia banks, just small scattered areas with these ancient withered plants surviving thousands of years in this inhospitable climate. Growing up in Swakopmund Leon showed a profound love and knowledge of this desert area, imparting his information on different dune types, rock types and his environment. A very satisfying tour.


