Reviews: Tequila Route Experience from Guadalajara

Had a lot of fun on the tequila tour with Sebastian! It's a mix of both Spanish and English speaking crowd, and he was great at communicating the history of tequila to both audiences. Free pickup from your place of residence too which was a nice bonus compared to the other tours. Tequila tasting was great. Not unlimited but you can always ask for extra shots if available. 😁 Tequila town was also a really cute location with a lot of vibrant buildings and shops. Food at Tequila town and extra drinks not included, but considering the price it's still very worth!

What an excellent way to spend a day if you are in Guadalajara. Jose, our tour guide picked me up from the hotel at the said time and after picking up other tourists we were on our way. Jose went out of the way to accommodate me since I was the only non spanish speaking person on the tour. Never felt for a moment that I was being ignored. The trip started with a visit to one of the local tequila factories and since it was not that busy we got a great tour, got to know all about tequila, tasted some awesome samples and were on our way to the town of Tequila. What an amazing place. The tour of Jose Cuervo factory was really good as well. Samples were abundant, tried some stuff that is either not available where I am or stuff that I would not think of buying. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend.

It was an excellent experience in Tequila, and I especially appreciated our local guide, who shared a wealth of information about both Tequila and Mexico. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the real Mexico.

This tour has it ALL! Mauricio was the perfect guide for our day of tequila tasting. He was so knowledgeable and was happy to be flexible with us. He also made sure we were treated like VIP's- no waiting in lines or getting stuck behind big tour bus groups. Our highlights were the Tres Tonos tasting, lunch in the town of Tequila (Heads up: the city is mostly cash-only) and ending our day with a dance party at Cantaritos El Guero. Cantaritos was a GIANT outdoor bar with live music and dancing. We could have stayed here and danced all night!

This was a long, drawn out day for no reason. we stayed way to long at the Agave fields. the tour was cool but we really didn't get much history about the distillery. the entire train ride was in Spanish so all English speakers didn't understand nothing being told on the train
