The overall itinerary was somewhat rushed due to Japanese driver service time regulations. The Takayama leg of the trip was particularly tight, mainly because completing a meal and a full visit to the Takayama Jinya (traditional Japanese houses) within two hours was quite strenuous. Two hours was more than enough for the Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri village. The tour guide was very professional and nice, and his explanations were quite interesting. The group members came from all over the world, with mainland Chinese tourists making up about 10%, making it a very international team.

I've been to Japan countless times and taken many day tours, but this is my first time writing a review. First of all, the itinerary was excellent, but most importantly, our tour guide, Ms. Zuo Sha, was simply amazing. She promptly adjusted the itinerary, communicated effectively, and arranged the trip reasonably. She was warm and generous, possessing an encyclopedic knowledge of the routes and attractions. She helped everyone with planning for sightseeing, shopping, dining, taking photos… she arranged everything perfectly. Afterwards, she even kindly took me to the bus station to inquire about buying tickets to other cities. So thoughtful! Beautiful scenery and food of moths and Shirakawa township. From the 5 tunnels passed through the moths and mountains to the secret land of Baichuan Township, the twilight season is also beautiful: the late cherry blossoms, there is snow on the mountains in the distance, the fish in the stream are moving, and the village without snow shows the natural style. The village is colorful, and you can eat all the way. Haha is also a kind of enjoyment, thank you for the day group tour guide, very serious, knowledge is wide, all the way to explain to us, introduce the food, you can often participate in the day activities in the future, worry and effort.

The itinerary is very compact, but fortunately there is a bus transfer and a tour guide to explain the whole process, saving the trouble of checking the traffic by yourself, it is really convenient! Shirakawa Township is super beautiful, and the morning market of the missile alpine is also very interesting. It is a bit in a hurry. After shopping on the street, taking pictures, and going to a shrine, you have to gather. The ramen and roast meat recommended by the tour guide look very attractive, but unfortunately there is no time to eat, and I will make up for it next time.

The rush of weekend morning outings from Nagoya meant it took 30 minutes just to get onto the highway, which took up some time for sightseeing. Aside from that, the scenery and weather were truly beautiful. Shirakawa-go looks even prettier with the autumn foliage deepening. ^^

We booked a group tour through Ctrip, which was very convenient. The meeting point was right outside one of the Nagoya Station exits. The guide took attendance and assigned seats. He gave a brief overview of the attractions and distributed a map. I'd heard colleagues talk about Shirakawa-go Gassho Village as being beautiful, especially in winter after the snow. Although we visited on October 7th, the scenery was still stunning. I hadn't expected such a beautiful village to exist deep in the mountains. It wasn't crowded, and we all had a wonderful time strolling through the beautiful village.


