I used it from Tainan to Taoyuan. I reserved a time in advance on the official website and headed to the station. When I showed my passport and reservation number at the ticket counter, they asked if I wanted to change the time, and when I told them I was fine with leaving it as it was, they issued me a paper ticket. They spoke simple Japanese and English. The interior of the car was air-conditioned, making for a quiet and comfortable trip.About
