Reviews: 1-day tour to Alishan Forest Recreation Area and Fenqi Lake (departing from Taichung city hotels, admission ticket not included)
Guest User2026-09-22
The itinerary is comprehensive yet well-organized, allowing you to fully appreciate the beauty of Alishan in a single day and ride the iconic Alishan train. The price is very reasonable, and you can choose whether or not to participate in any of the activities based on your needs.

Reviews: 1-day tour to Sun Moon Lake and Qingjing Farm with Taichung city pickup
Guest User2026-10-21
Our tour guide for this day trip was Xiao Yang, whose license plate number was RGE-7199. He was extremely responsible, warm, and attentive throughout the entire trip. Before setting off, he asked if we had any motion sickness or other health issues, and he also promptly informed us of the weather changes, reminding us to prepare jackets and rain gear—very thoughtful. His driving skills were safe and comfortable, and at each scenic spot, he patiently took photos for us, ensuring we had wonderful memories. His service made the entire trip easy and enjoyable.

Reviews: Alishan National Forest Recreation Area 1-day tour with admission ticket [departing from Taichung/Kaohsiung]
Guest User2026-11-03
I went through the itinerary with our guide, Alicia, and was very satisfied. She was cheerful, kind, and took great pride in her profession. In the car, she sang Taiwanese songs related to Alishan as well as her favorite pop songs. It was entertaining to listen to her not only explain each tourist attraction but also share stories about the culture and history. Alishan was magnificent; with its walking paths and stairs, it felt almost like strolling through a park. We also took the train, which was fun. It is a bit tiring for a day trip (it takes 3 hours just to get there, haha), but I still recommend it!

Reviews: Nantou Qingjing Farm, Sun Moon Lake 1-day tour [Taichung city pickup | Sun Moon Lake boat ticket included]
Guest User2026-11-04
There were 8 of us traveling together, accompanied by our guide and driver, Justing. He provided detailed explanations about Taiwan and even took photos with care to send via LINE. 👍 I was so touched that he even edited them before sending them.. haha. It wasn't a large bus, but a 9-seater, and he drove quite fast, which I personally liked. He even bought us persimmons! I didn't have high expectations for Cingjing Farm, but it was actually pretty good. Sun Moon Lake was especially fun, but I honestly regretted not eating three more of the tea dumplings at Xuan Guang Temple. If you try to visit these two places in a single day on an independent trip, it’s more like a march than a vacation, so please choose a day tour! I highly recommend it.

Reviews: Qingjing Farm + Gaomei Wetlands One-Day Tour from Taichung | Limited-time offer
Guest User2026-10-20
Yesterday I joined a one-day tour of Cingjing Gaomei and easily visited Cingjing Farm and Gaomei Wetland! 😍 We booked this tour on Trip.com early in the morning and the driver picked us up right downstairs from the hotel at 07:30. After a two-hour drive, we arrived at the gate of [Cingjing Farm] at 10:00. Farm tickets are NT$270 per person and include door rolls for both fields. If you want to go in and out multiple times, remember to stamp your hand! Once you enter the farm, you are sucked in by the view in front of you at first sight, and you can't stop taking pictures! There are photo spots everywhere, and there is also a sheep show and a riding show, where you can see the interaction between the shepherd and the sheep, super interesting🤩. As for the [Cingjing High Altitude Sightseeing Trail], remember to pay another NT$50 entrance fee. When I was looking for tickets online, I found out that there is a "Farm + Trail + Little Swiss Hill Package". Walking up the trail, the view is wider, even the mountain view is another feeling, more beautiful photos! The trail goes down to the north ticket gate to the south ticket gate, then down to [Cingjing Little Swiss Garden] and [Carton King]. The driver was scheduled to wait for us at the south ticket gate or Little Swiss Garden at 14:00. Get on the bus again and leave for [Gaomei Wetland]. This journey takes about two hours and arrives at 4pm. There are many tourists in Gaomei Wetland, crowded, but we agreed with the driver to meet at 17:40, we first went to the coffee shop to chill a chill☕, then went out to the wooden canyon to watch the sunset. Unfortunately, the wooden canyon is under maintenance until the end of November 2026, but because there is no one, the view is even more beautiful! 🌅 After assembly, the driver sent us back to the hotel at 18:35, perfect ending! ✌️ The whole trip was super comfortable, nine-seater car pick-up and drop-off, two attractions at once! 💯 Recommended for friends who are afraid of trouble ~ 📍【Cingjing Farm】 Address: No. 170, Renhe Road, Ren Ai Township, Nantou County Business Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 📍【Gao Mei Wetland】 Address: Gaomei Road, Qingshui District, Taichung City Opening hours: Open year-round (best sunsets). 📍【Cingjing Little Swiss Garden】 Address: No. 170, Renhe Road, Ren Ai Township, Nantou County (near the farm) 📍【Carton King】 Address: No. 171, Renhe Road, Ren Ai Township, Nantou County 📍【Cingjing High Altitude Sightseeing Trail】 North ticket gate: Renhe Road, Ren Ai Township, Nantou County (next to the farm) South ticket entrance: Datong Village, Ren Ai Township, Nantou County (near the entrance to Little Switzerland) #Cingjing Farm #Gaomei Wetland #Cingjing High Altitude Trail #Qingjing Gaomei Day Trip #Gaomei Wetland Sunset #Cingjing High Altitude Trail

Reviews: Nantou Sun Moon Lake & Gaomei wetland 1-day tour [Taichung city pickup & Sun Moon Lake boat ticket included]
Guest User2026-10-27
I am writing this because there are no reviews. The day before, the person in charge will inform you of the pickup time and the order of locations. The itinerary is Pickup (8 am) -> Xiangshan Visitor Center & Wenwu Temple (1.5h) -> Sun Moon Lake (3.5h) -> Gaomei Wetlands (1.5h). The guide provides explanations in English and Chinese only for the first location; the rest is free time. Specifically for Sun Moon Lake, you are provided with a boat, and you can freely travel by boat for 3 hours, going from Shuishe to Xuangguang, then to Itashao, and finally back to Shuishe. You can have lunch in Itashao during this time. The wetlands are also free time; you go to watch the sunset and return by vehicle by 5:30 pm, after which you will be dropped off at the place where you first boarded. The tour starts around 8 pm and ends between 6:30 pm and 7 pm. I chose this tour because I wanted to see Gaomei Wetlands and Sun Moon Lake, but I didn't really want to visit Rainbow Village. I recommend this tour to anyone in a similar situation.
