Reviews: One-Day Tour to Wineglass Bay + Wineglass Bay Lookout in Hobart, Tasmania <Popular Attractions>
Guest User2026-07-21
I had a great experience on this Wineglass Bay tour. Our driver, Jacky, was very friendly, professional, and took good care of everyone throughout the trip. He made the long journey comfortable and enjoyable. Although the drive is quite long, it is absolutely worth it. Wineglass Bay is incredibly beautiful, and the scenery along the way is amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tasmania. One thing to note is that I would not recommend this tour for elderly people or anyone with limited mobility, as there is a hike of about 30–45 minutes uphill (one way) to reach the famous Wineglass Bay lookout. The hike can be challenging, but the view at the top is spectacular and well worth the effort. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

The hotel provides timely pick-up and drop-off, the staff are attentive and responsible, the scenery along the way is beautiful, with the sea and sky blending into one, and the hiking to the summit takes 1 hour, making it suitable for all ages.

Reviews: From Coles Bay: Wineglass Bay Cruise with Lunch
Guest User2026-10-09
A fantastic day observing the rugged coastline as we headed to Wineglass Bay. We were treated to a number of whales breaching in and around the bay. We were surrounded by a large pod of dolphins as well. Our captain delayed our return to enable us to witness the whales. His own enthusiasm was infectious and his knowledge was extensive. A memorable trip

Reviews: Coles Bay: Freycinet National Park Water Taxi Service
Guest User2026-09-25
Wanted to get to Wineglass Bay (physically be on beach) but also wanted to be out on the water. This was an ideal compromise. Another boat trip sailed all the way to Wineglass Bay but could not drop people off there. Going by car meant a lengthy fairly strenuous hike to the beach. We were greeted warmly by our crew at Coles Bay. Mark was our guide. He was very friendly and gave us a good insight into the history of the peninsula, its people and its wildlife. Dropped off at Hazards beach which is beautiful in its own right. A 30 minute easy walk and we were at Wineglass Bay. Spent a leisurely hour and a half there soaking up its beauty and peacefulness. We were picked up timeously and returned to Coles Bay. All in all a pleasant trip to a beautiful part of the world. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to get a little taste of Freycinet National Park. Thanks again to our crew who made the day memorable.
