Reviews: Morning World Heritage Cruise on the Gordon River from Strahan
Y***02025-06-21
The "red boat" cruise is just the best way to spend (most) of the day on the west coast. We were there in winter but struck a beaut sunny day so saw the river at its reflective best. Videos, and the captains commentary on board are extremely informative. The opportunity to sit next to the captain and get a better understanding from the bridge was also appreciated. Drinks and souvenirs are available on board, but the lunch provided was just magnificent. Fresh, authentic, and plentiful. We thought the stop at Heritage Landing was a tad short, and the Morrisons saw mill tour a bit awkward with some reconstruction going on. For us, this was our second trip on the Gordon. Look forward to going again. Thanks to all your convivial, helpful staff.
