Both tour guys we're excellent. Both nice and helpful and our cheese and chocolate factory guide was too cool for school and once he opened up, had a great personality. My only regret what not purchasing the Rhine Falls tour!★

Switzerland boasts one of the world's best railway systems, with reliable hardware and software. Using STP (Switzerland Rail Pass) to enjoy the scenery on the train is an ultimate experience, making it a top choice for any trip to Switzerland! The reason for this recommendation is simple: everything in Switzerland is very expensive, even short one-way tickets (only one or two stops). After my trip, I calculated that the cost of using STP was about 45% of what I would have spent on all one-way tickets – the savings speak for themselves!★

The trip was smooth, well organised, and the guide, a senior person, was knowledgeable. I enjoyed it overall. However, my wife and teenagers (aged 12 and 15) found the guide rather boring and not captivating. I would therefore recommend this trip for those who wish to learn, as it feels rather like a school excursion that combines a history lesson with a formal visit to a cheese factory. It may not be the best choice if your aim is simply to relax and have fun during your holidays (apart from the Lindt Museum, where you are free to wander and taste as much chocolate as you wish).
