Reviews: Whistler Blackcomb Day Tour

This time to participate in the Canadian Whistler cross-peak trip, thanks to Xu guide! From Vancouver, all the way to Xiangnong Waterfall, Whistler Ski Resort, Ken's service is so intimate. He speaks Chinese very well, is very clear about each attraction, the itinerary is also very reasonable, the bus ride and the attraction activity time are connected silky, no need to worry about it. And Ken is very careful, will pay attention to everyone's needs, answer any questions in seconds, and share the local fun and delicious. Follow him to play, both see the beautiful scenery and feel warm! Next time I come, I will find him as a tour guide ~

Actually went with Grayline tours. Good day out with a charismatic guide who was very passionate and knowledgeable. Driver was safe and efficient. Sea to sky gondola was magnificent and totally worth while - could have done with at least another 30 minutes up here if not an hour - brilliant attraction. As for Whistler? Simply don’t bother. If you like tourist traps with little other than average food stops and tacky gift shops then this is the place for you. If not avoid like the plague and find another way to get to the sea to sky gondola. This will save you a great deal of wasted time (circa 4 hours) as well I suspect a chunk of change. The stops at the lookout and the falls on the way home are pleasing but not worth travelling all the way up to Whistler for the excuse to drop in on the way home and in fact the falls is very close to the gondola so could perhaps be combined here. Whistler is grossly over rated out of season and I recommend not bothering (in case you have not already got that message!) .
Reviews: Britannia Mine Museum General Admission
Guest User2025-09-14
On every trip we are looking for an industrial visit and Britannia Mine Museum qualified and yielded in ways we never expected. Not only was there a detailed account of the industrial processes associated with the mine, but there as also an indoor sound & light show, a train ride, a museum and a (fool's) gold quest using water and trays, and a lot of sand. The only minus was that our guide made no reference whatsoever to the First Nation on whose unceded land the mine was built. That was quite shameful considering that nearly all places we visited in British Columbia and Alberta welcomed visitors paying respect to First Nations.
