We arrived early, not knowing how long it takes for immigration or security clearance. The process was really fast and the staff let us catch the 1pm ferry instead of the 2pm ferry that we booked. The sailing was very smooth, no sea sickness at all.

A convenient way to quickly get from Macau to Hong Kong. Departs strictly on schedule. It takes an hour. Doesn't make you sick. We arrived at the departure point early and were kindly placed on a ferry that departs an hour earlier than the time indicated on the ticket.

I was staying on the Macau Peninsula, but I read in reviews that the Cotai Water Jet was less turbulent, so I took a taxi from my hotel to Taipa. I couldn't quite read the reservation time, so I booked here after arriving at the ferry terminal. I booked with plenty of time to spare, just in case I had to go through immigration, but everything went smoothly and I was able to get on an earlier flight by an hour. It was very easy, just showing the QR code. The Taipa Ferry Terminal is spacious and clean! It's small, but there's a duty-free shop. There's also a small shop in the waiting area before boarding, where you can buy snacks and souvenirs, giving you a chance to use your Macau patacas at the end! There's not much information about the Taipa Ferry Terminal, so I wanted to know in advance, so I'll share it here!
