Fangfei Pavilion is really the makeup shop I have to go to when I come to Shanghai to play. Every time I wear Hanfu, I choose their home for makeup. A feast for the eyes and taste, with warm service and delicious dishes. Teeven contacted us in advance to inquire about any dietary restrictions and arranged for us to move up a row of seats for free. He also thoughtfully sent us a cake. This is a great way to see Shanghai! But be prepared to get a sore bum after 4 hours cycling - no hills though! - and be prepared to brave the traffic! Scooters, cars and bicycles come at you from all directions, tooting their horns. but the idea is that you just throw yourself in front of any other traffic and, somehow, it all works out
