We were picked up by Our driver Zamiel on time at 8am. After a short 25 minutes transfer to the boat we started the tour with the first snorkelling spot at Gili Air. It was a massive coral reef and rich with plenty of different fish. We even saw a giant turtle there.
Second stop was at Gili Meno where we saw further 3 turtles and again a variety of fish.
Third stop was to snorkel the statues at Gili Meno. Of course it was crowded but in my opinion not too busy. It was absolutely stunning. A few people touched the statues which I didn’t like but some humans are just stupid.
We then stopped at Gili Meno for a drink and the turtle sanctuary before we relaxed at the beach on Gili T and had lunch there.

The trip from Bali (Sanur) to Lombok was overall good, and the boat ride itself was smooth. However, a few things could’ve been clearer. We first went to the trip.com office but were redirected to another location to get our tickets. Despite booking VIP, we had to wait outside and not in the VIP room. Also, we weren’t offered the free water that was mentioned—small thing, but if it’s listed, it should be provided. Lastly, we had to change boats in Nusa to reach Lombok, which wasn’t mentioned at booking. It would’ve helped to know this in advance. With clearer instructions and delivery on the promised amenities, the experience would’ve been great.★

I didn’t have any problems. I think the links about location might not be accurate so just type in the service provider into Google map to find their nearest offices. Otherwise the boat is punctual and I didn’t have any problems. You might need to pay additional harbour tax so have some small cash on hand to pay for that.★

Excellent excursion. In just a few hours, we managed to snorkel at the best spots on the islands, swim with turtles, have lunch on Gili Meno, and have time for a free visit to Gili Trawangan. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The driver was punctual. The organization was truly excellent. This excursion is highly recommended for those who only have one day to dedicate to the Gili Islands but want to explore them to the fullest.
