The immigration process on both sides is well-organized—in Koh Lipe, passengers go through a simple passport check at the floating pier before boarding, while in Langkawi, immigration is handled quickly upon arrival at the pier. The ferry itself is comfortable, with air-conditioned seating and enough space to relax during the trip.
