This is an excellent walking tour. Notice I said WALKING tour. You will walk. You will encounter stairs, inclined streets and cobblestones. Prepare accordingly. Complaining because you wore flat thong sandals or you are not used to so much walking will not be helpful to the tour guide or your fellow participants. Getting back to the tour though, the guide was very knowledgeable and thorough, and took us to some amazing places in Puerto Rican history. I learned quite a bit, gained an even greater appreciation of the history and culture of the people and the area, and had some good laughs along the way. He is also considerate of everyone’s safety, making sure to point out potentially dangerous obstacles and making sure traffic stops for the entire group to cross what can be busy, narrow streets. If you plan on tipping (which he deserves), make sure you are prepared, because in our case the tour ended right next to the garage where he was parked and he hurried to his car at the end faster than I could even pull my wallet out of my pocket. I recommend this tour to anyone who would like to experience the beautiful area of Old San Juan and would like to learn and be entertained at the same time.★

What an amazing tour experience! Melanie is exceptional and was an amazing guide! Definitely book with her. Her love and pride for her country made the experience with her even better. I enjoyed every minute of it and it didn’t feel like 2 hours 😊 Melanie is also super sweet and accommodating. I had a ladt minute addition to the tour and was able to pick up my friend from the hotel and join up with the group even after the tour started. You just have to communicate this BEFORE the tour begins. She will not be able to answer her phone while the tour is ongoing… hello! Just plan accordingly folks and we do get a text message from her at least 45-60 minutes before the tour starts. We also got some great pics! Such a lovely experience and I highly highly recommend Melanie if you can tour with her ❤️🤍💙😊★
