It was a satisfying trip with a good price that was definitely worth it to see the quokkas, even though the waves were strong and I was tossed around a lot.

Reviews: Rottnest Island one-day tour Round-trip from Fremantle/Perth

The service was standard; the location indicated on Ctrip was accurate. Upon arrival, the staff asked for the number below the QR code, making ticket exchange easy. There were signs for the ticket office along the way. The itinerary itself was fine, but it's best to rent a bicycle on the island, otherwise, getting around is extremely difficult.

Minimal walking with bus service. Touch and go kind of photo snapping tour. Lunch was a choice of chicken/vegetarian sandwich + chocolate chip cookie

15,000-Foot Skydiving Experience Review (with Practical Tips) My 15,000-foot skydiving experience on Rottnest Island was full of surprises and challenges. Although there were a few minor hiccups, the final experience was definitely worth trying! Below are my honest impressions and some practical tips for those planning to try it. My original skydiving date was changed two hours before departure when I received a notification from the local travel agency that it needed to be rescheduled due to bad weather. Unfortunately, I had already booked non-refundable ferry tickets and couldn't change my itinerary, so I had to go to Rottnest Island as planned. The itinerary for that day was changed to visiting the island's Quokkas and taking a bus tour around the island to see wild sea lions. Tip: There might not be enough time for the island tour on the day of the skydive, but don't worry about not seeing the Quokkas; they often appear on the grass near the pier and near restaurants, and you can easily take pictures of these adorable creatures! On the rescheduled day, the weather finally cleared up, with gentle breezes and sunshine—the perfect time for skydiving! The walk from the pier to the airport is about 15 minutes. Upon arrival, registration takes about 10 minutes, including filling out a mobile questionnaire and purchasing a video package (highly recommended, great value for capturing this moment!). Next, you enter the preparation room, watch an instructional video, and put on your safety gear. The instructor checks your equipment again to ensure everything is in order before boarding. About 15-20 minutes after takeoff, you reach an altitude of 15,000 feet. The instructor is very professional, checking your equipment while recording exciting scenes inside and outside the plane with a camera. The moment you jump is completely beyond imagination! There's no centrifugal force or fear of altitude, only the pure exhilaration of the oncoming wind! The instructor even let me briefly control the parachute's direction, making the experience even more fun. Finally, we landed safely on a small beach, and a private car took us back to the pier's bus terminal. The whole process was very smooth. Another important tip: be careful with your timing! Choosing a jump time that's too late might cause you to miss your ferry back to downtown Perth or Fremantle. For those planning a day trip, it's recommended to avoid the afternoon hours and allow ample time for your return. In summary, although the skydive was slightly delayed due to weather, the ultimate thrill and enjoyment completely exceeded expectations! From preparation to landing, every step was well-organized, and the instructors' professionalism and enthusiasm were reassuring. If you haven't tried skydiving before, this experience on Rottnest Island is definitely worth trying—guaranteed to be unforgettable!
