Great trip. Hobbiton was very impressive, even for someone who is not a fan. The driver was very knowledgeable and talked the whole journey. The Waitomo caves were not all that impressive but it was ok to do alongside something else

We had our transfer around week and a half ago. The weather wasn’t that great but Waitomo caves were still open and we were lucky to see the whole experience, the guide was informative time from time, would have wished to hear more information/ interesting facts or more storyline. Good option for transferring with some tour involved, however one thing to point out is that there could be a mention that in pick up places there are several tour bus pick ups happening same time and people should make sure they would get into the right bus to see the right tour.
