Thomas and the guys were very open and wanted us to learn about Riga, hill of crosses and cultural differences between Lithuania and Latvia. The tour is the perfect amount of time and good value for your money.

We had an incredibly wonderful excursion with Laura. She was very attentive to our wishes and expectations and made the day something truly special. Jūrmala was very beautiful, and she also gave us the time to enjoy the place and the moment. She even brought some delicious snacks, which we ate together while having a conversation during a short visit to a market. Laura stopped there for us because we wanted to have a look around. We also made an unplanned stop at a museum because she knew we could buy souvenirs there. It was clear that it was important to her that we had a great day and that her goal was to drop us off at home happy. She definitely succeeded in that, and we can warmly recommend this excursion. We were still talking about it for days afterwards, even after we had already returned to Germany.

Excellent tour though SmileLine Tours. We purchased a 3 pm tour at the travel information center at the Blackheads building on the Dom (City Hall) Square. Gutrun (sp?) only had 2 of us and spent quality time with us explaining Latvian recent history (including her personal experiences). The history of Riga is awesome and this tour (2 hours) filled in my lack of knowledge on this awesome historical city.

I’m so glad I took this tour, the peat bog and woods in the snow was a wonderful thing. Our guide Viesturs gave some great explanations of Jurmula and the different building styles. The park is the best part of the trip
