We had a fabulous day at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery! The staff and museum were excellent, and the distillery tour itself was fascinating. For safety reasons you can’t take in phones, watches, or anything with a battery—which makes perfect sense (no one wants to blow up a rum still!). The highlight was definitely the extension tour where we got to create our own rum. It was so much fun, and our guides G and Bobby were absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, funny, and true rum experts. Tip: don’t bring a car—arrange to be dropped off and picked up, as there’s plenty of rum to taste along the way. Excellent value, an unforgettable experience, and absolutely worth doing. I give it a 10 out of 10!

Fabulous couple of hours, our 10 year old boys loved every second of their first fishing experience…the Barra were certainly biting. All very easy and chilled.

This tour was really educational about our local reef, sea wildlife and island knowledge. Very interesting to kids as well as adults. The tour guide Tilly and the young lady assisting were so informative, very helpful and overall lovely ladies. It was so good that I wish the tour could have been longer. We loved it and it’s one thing to add to your bucket list whilst visiting in yeppoon and surrounding areas. The ferry ride over we got to see whales which made our day special, everyone at freedom fast cats were polite and very helpful. I would love to do this again and bring the family.

The oldest rainforest in the world, where dinasours lived, also I learned the difference between fruits and berries and the adventures of Joseph Bank, Captain Cook, Daintree ( who decided to go back to England despite doctor's advice) and the importance of pigs and pig's poo, etc etc... We saw cocodriles, babies, a poligamous old male and several females who are dinasour relatives, and birds. And also they gave is breakfast (scones I think), lunch ( with many different choices) and homemade ice cream.


