I don't know how crowded the one in downtown Chengdu is, but we had a pretty good experience here in terms of crowds; we entered the park around 8 pm. The company that provided our tickets was very helpful, as we mistakenly booked the 12 pm tickets and they were able to exchange them without any problem. Excellent communication with them.

This was not only a cooking class, but also a deep dive into Chinese, and more so, Sichuan culture, and cuisine. Jerry, our guide, was the most exquisite, professional, funny, and easygoing person, on a professional, and human level. He explained everything in detail, about the culture, cuisine, spices, teas, and more. He wand far and beyond. I cannot recommend this workshop enough. I’m a cook, and I mostly cook Asian cuisine, and this class gave me even more insights into the culture, and various preparations. Thank you Jerry for answering my (many) questions, and for making this day memorable. The highlight of my trip!

I really liked the panda breeding facility. In the summer, the pandas are kept in glass enclosures in air-conditioned spaces. We watched the pandas eat fruit and bamboo for about 14 hours, but each enclosure varied.

The exquisite and mysterious exhibits at the Sanxingdui Museum are captivating. Special thanks to the guide, Ms. Wu Wei, whose vivid explanations helped us better understand the ancient Shu Kingdom's sacrificial culture and better connect the Sanxingdui exhibits with the Classic of Mountains and Seas. We are filled with anticipation for the future excavations at Sanxingdui.
