Pepe was our guide and he was really knowledgeable about the area and the history of the floating islands. His English was amazing too.
On the way to the islands he explained the history of the lake which was interesting.
The first island was a small traditional island with a full demonstration of how the islands are built, maintained and the day to day life of the locals. We were able to see inside the houses and the locals offered to dress us up in their clothing which was cute. They have stalls of souvenirs if you wish to buy and there is no pressure at all which is nice.
Second island we visited was the biggest and more for tourists with a cafe etc but still nice to visit. We had a beautiful sunset over the mountains too.
Highly recommend this tour as you will not be disappointed.About
