We had a wonderful tour to the Douro Valley today with Alex . After stopping in amarante to walk around and learn the history of this magical town, we went on to 2 wineries, lunch and a boat ride on the Douro River . Alex was attentive and professional, catering to everyone’s needs as the day went on . He took us to this lovely cafe for coffee in Amarante as he shared the rich history of the town. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional in every way, and made personal connections with us to learn our interests . As we departed he shared ideas for places to visit in Porto once learning what interested us. We had an amazing day and will long remember this trip ! Thank you Alex !About
