Many of the reviews written for Raju here speak of the same thing: his unfaltering kindness, depth of experience and priceless knowledge of the area that only comes from living as long as he has in Annapurna. We would very much echo these sentiments!
Rather, it is worth explaining the key thing (we found) that sets Raju apart from other guides on the ABC. That is, how attentive Raju is. When you wake up he is in the dining area ready to greet you, communicate to the kitchen you are ready for breakfast.
He then explains the day to you and makes sure the tea house is happy for your departure. On the walk he always checks in and manages pace—taking you to the best spots for luncheon and finally your stay. Dinner, bedding, and all other of your requests under the setting sun are sought to, and only then does he attend to his own needs. The cycle repeats, with your interests always the top priority of his.
Alongside all of Raju’s virtues, it is above all this, his attentiveness, that made for such a great trip and why we would recommend whole heartedly.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had in ANY country I’ve traveled to. It’s one thing to be shepherded to various sites to take pictures, it’s another to get an intimate view of the community that lives there.
I was quite worried about the 8 hour length of the event as I was quite sleep deprived and am rather introverted. I was captivated for the entire tour and Gyatsu was tremendously knowledgeable.
He tells things the way they are and is happy to tell you where to find out more if he doesn’t know the answer to your question. A truly enriching experience that I cannot recommend enough!★

This tour was the highlight of my time in Nepal. It provided meaningful insights into Tibetan culture, traditions, and way of life.
I found the tour educational and meaningful, learning about Tibetan culture and the struggles.
The tour specifically focused on Tibetan education and culture—not just sightseeing. I had a wonderful afternoon chatting with a young monk, exploring monasteries and visited a Tibetan family for tea.

Roman, my Tourguide was very helpful and kind person. I couldn't believe that he immediately jumped in to help me plan my schedule which was different that the program we had.
He picked me up at 5 o clock in the morning with is motorbike from the bus station, because I came by the overnight bus and I went one our to his family until we receive the car and start the tour earlier at 6. Many thanks for that Roman, one more time and also to the company.
Even thought I couldn't see the mountains because of the weather conditions, the hike there was very nice, very beautiful nature. Roman took beautiful pictures of me and was very patient.
The only thing negative was that tour was a bit too expensive, we drive only a little, but walked the most time. Lunch was included, but still expensive.
Otherwise I was happy with the tour and especially with my Tourguide Roman. Thanks to the company also which immediately replied to my email.
