We visited this wonderful city with an intelligent self-guided tour in Italian. We followed the English-speaking guide Martin throughout the tour. Everything was definitely positive, but I still recommend an in-person guide. The tour was top-notch.

Plovdiv is a very beautiful city steeped in history, well worth a visit. Asen's Fortress is also interesting, and the surroundings are beautiful. Our guide, Philip, was very kind, polite, and informative, with a great sense of humor.

We met our guide in Plovdiv (even though it wasn't specified in the reservation), Maria. Very friendly and knowledgeable, she accompanied us on a tour of the city, pointing out the most beautiful and interesting attractions. The tour was well-organized, and we had just the right amount of time to see the city. Unlike me, I recommend avoiding Plovdiv on Mondays, as almost all the museums (or house museums) are closed.
