Rosbin, Marco, and Daniel from Simbiosis + Big Fingers Coffee Roasters were truly amazing! They went above and beyond. My husband Devon and I learned so much about the origins of coffee and chocolate, and walked us through how it is roasted. I am a barista myself and learned so much from their passion for coffee and chocolate. I can’t wait to bring this knowledge home with me to my coworkers! We are excited to take some home with us. Leave room in your suitcase!
Then we were driven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or so through Liberia and up to the rainforest. We stopped at a restaurant that served us rice, beans, plantains, and our choice of meat. As well as cas juice, it was delicious.
The sloth tour was nearby. We learned about sloths, snakes, and natural foliage of Guanacaste. Diego was our guide and was able to spot 6 sloths, 2 of which were at eye level :) our driver was amazing as well, he pointed out mango trees and showed us where the river begins to flow towards the Caribbean Sea. We stopped in Liberia at a souvenir shop for a bathroom break and free coffee sample. Overall this tour gave us a larger appreciation for Costa Rican culture thanks to each of our guides! :) Pura vida!Payment Methods
