This was an incredible experience. The driver James is a friendly genuine man who told us stories and gave us laughter, but also very knowledgeable and passionate. The nature was stunning and tranquil, more surprisingly we got to see so much snow! The towns we drove through had some interesting history and grand to see some old school America.

My daughter and I went on this tour during a 3 day Seattle visit for her 17th birthday. I would say that this tour was worth every penny! Ben was a fantastic guide and we had a lovely time. We were picked up and dropped off at our downtown hotel which was extremely convenient. We stopped part way up the mountain for a break and Ben made us coffee and served a snack of breakfast breads. Later, had a very delicious lunch (cloth napkins and everything LOL). Being July, we had gorgeous weather and the beauty of Mt. Rainier cannot be described. It was truly lovely. We saw waterfalls, a bit of snow, lakes, gorgeous views, and even a bear! Thankfully he was walking away from us, but it was very cool. This is a long day so plan accordingly (we knew that going in) but would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Ben was very gracious and considerate. He gave us so much information and was very accommodating to be sure that everyone in the group (5 of us total) had as little or as much activity as we wanted. 10/10 Highly recommend!

The trip was really nice. Pickup was on time. We were taken to the supermarket to get a sandwich that we liked and something to drink (included in the price). However there was already a lot of snow in Mount Rainier National Park and some roads were closed. We were not able to see reflection lake. The museums were closed as well (maybe because of a strike). There was quite a bit of snow and hiking during the 2 hours we had at the Paradise Visitor centre was a bit tough without hiking poles or crampons. Especially going down to the waterfall was super slippery and a lady from another group fell and hurt herself. So maybe it is a good idea to bring crampons/hiking poles if you are going on this tour. The landscapes and waterfalls were super pretty. The guide Jennifer was friendly and approachable.

Our guide Jackie was great and the trip beautiful. Only recommendations to save time would be NOT to make first stop and go to mirror lake first.


