I recommend the trip. The comfortable bus held about 50 people, and it was a comfortable ride. The English was very clear. I recommend quick walks and tastings in Montalcino: 1. An excellent set of three tasting wines at Enoteca Grotta del Brunello. 2. An equally wonderful set of wines from the enomatique at Enoteca Pierangioli.

Flavio, our guide was awesome. The two hour bus ride was broken up by a nice little visit to grab some souvenirs. The wine was delicious in the lunch was wonderful. I would highly recommend. It is an entire day and there is some walking.
