It was a very enjoyable boat trip during the May Day holiday! I was initially a little worried that the itinerary might be too rushed and that they might keep ripping off tourists by selling them things, but it wasn't at all! They picked us up from the hotel lobby early in the morning, and we took a speedboat to the pier. The Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay were beautiful. We also added a longtail boat tour. Since I can't swim, I didn't dare to go snorkeling. The instructor actually guides you to snorkel, but I'm just too bad at swimming, so I only stayed in the water for a short while before coming back up and sitting. Those who are brave can try it. Lunch was also pretty good, Thai food. The tour guide spoke basic Chinese and took photos for us along the way. There were also free drinks and fruit on the speedboat, which was a lifesaver in the hot weather. On the way back, we even caught the sunset. We were taken back to the hotel in the evening. It was a very happy day!

Everything was great, except for the lunch, which wasn't great—rice with chicken, at least for me. The Thai guide was very friendly. He was concerned about everyone seeing everything. He even tracked a shark for us. The glowing plankton was nothing like the adverts.

It was great! The schedule was perfect and we were able to see everything we wanted! The guide was very helpful, and it was a fun tour. One thing to note is that the message from the service provider said we would meet at a different hotel, but they actually pick you up at your designated hotel. This was a bit confusing, but we were able to meet up without any problems thanks to a phone call from the transfer person!

The booking process was easy; we got our tickets at the pier ticket office, which was cheaper than paying cash. There were still seats available on the boat, and you can also check in your luggage.

If you had told me beforehand that the snorkeling area was tens of meters deep, I definitely wouldn't have dared to go down. But the moment I did, the underwater world appeared so clearly before me—sunlight pierced through the water, hundreds of silvery-yellow fish swam through my fingers, the coral reefs were clearly visible, even the fish scales shimmered. The "crystal clear" described in textbooks felt so real! ☹️The biggest regret is that my DJI drone broke down an hour before we set off, so I couldn't capture the underwater world. I'll have to try again next time. 🌴 Beginner-Friendly Tips 💡 Bring your own snorkeling mask; a dry one is safer. Wear a long-sleeved, long-legged wetsuit for sun protection and to prevent scratches. The water is clearest around 10 am, and the fish are more active, so remember to apply sunscreen beforehand. Bring bread to feed the fish. Even if you can't swim, no problem! Just wear a life jacket and lie on the surface to enjoy the underwater spectacle!
