Moses was a very pleasant guide. His facts about the social aspects of Amish culture were interesting. He patiently answered many questions. We learned a lot.
If you visit in the summer you’ll get to see the Amish women’s vegetable and flower gardens. The soil in Lancaster County is very rich.
The visit to the Amish farm where the movie Witness was filmed was not of interest to us. Neither of us had seen the 1980’s era movie.
We most enjoyed the working dairy farm and getting to see the father, his children, dogs, and the dairy cows.
As others have mentioned, the creamery visit with ice cream provided as part of the tour was good. We saw three young Amish boys playing plastic baseball on their front lawn.★
