I tried to explore Ottawa in a day. Had a good trip into downtown, Capitol Hill, Ottawa river cruise and saw most of the important landmarks. It is worth roaming through a floating bus (land and water) which is an interesting experience.

Allison was a wonderful, attentive guide who never even looked at a note card! She really knew her stuff! It was a very informative walk with some fascinating stories and history! The sites we stopped at left us wanting to know even more! It was an awesome experience and we are so glad we did it!

A very beautiful and educational museum that allows you to learn more about Canadian history, but also about our own history. The section on the early wars with Indigenous peoples and the major battles of World War I, in which Canadians played a significant role, is particularly interesting. There's also a nice shop and a small café with good hamburgers, as we say here 😁
