It was a fantastic day, everything went as described! Convenient meeting point, super-on-time departure, and a short (normal) queue at the border. Once we crossed the border, our driver and Numon, our guide, were waiting for us. From there, we followed the route outlined in the experience description to the letter, with a quick visit to the bazaar before setting off for the 7 lakes. Despite the difficult road (very narrow in several places, with very high cliffs, and numerous potholes), our driver was excellent, driving slowly and safely getting us to the top of the mountain and back down! A special thanks to Numon, who helped make this day fantastic with his cheerfulness and professionalism! 10 out of 10!!

Numon, the guide, is simply amazing. Even though the group spoke English, he later explained the tour to us in Russian. He gave a really fun tour of the 7 lakes and told an engaging story. The driver is also a master. We left Samarkand early in the morning, crossed the border into Tajikistan very quickly, and enjoyed the Tajik nature with its beautiful views of the mountains and lakes.

Numom was a good guide. Very attentive, and energetic. made sure everyone was having a good time the tour itself was well organised ized. started off in samarkand with a bus that takes you to the border then you cross and Numom was waiting for us. we started off at a bazaar where you can exchange money which then you have some time to buy stuff from market or magnets. this is the only time you will spend money, so if you have no interest in this, don't change money here we were given some pastries for breakfast which were pretty good from there it's a 2 hour drive to get to the first lake. and there you start the journey. the lakes are pretty, my favourite being number 6. it was too cold for us to swim at lake 7 but would be easy to enter at the seven lake we had a packed lunch which was potatoes, chicken and bread. then headed back to the border all in all it was fun to do. be prepared for a long day of being in a bus and crossing a border. id recommend it

Azim and the driver were super friendly and caring guides. They behaved very responsibly. Everything went smoothly, they gave sufficient information about the locations and everything was covered.
