the guide yashasvi was very passionate and knowledgeable. she shared hidden gems and long lost folktales about goa with us , showed us a great view of Latin quarters in Goa and the presence of portuguese culture. she took us to Confeitaria 31 de Janeiro (Fontainhas, Panaji) — Iconic Goan-Portuguese bakery dating back to 1930, located in the Latin Quarter and offered us traditional goan delicacies there. then she took us to cafe muelar by barista where we were treated with traditional kokum and goan live music by a very senior artist definitely must recommended for history and art lovers to see this side of goa with yashasvi

the trip to the waterfall was very nice. we had to be at the boarding point at 6:30 am but since the buses do not leave before 7:00 am this was not possible, the driver called us to say that he understood that 6:30 am would not be feasible at the boarding point and called us that they would wait for us until 8:00 am, very nice. now to find the boarding point, what a hassle! luckily the driver helped us a lot with this too. so that we could still go to the waterfall and herb plantation. waterfall was very nice (don't forget your swimsuit), watch out for the monkeys don't leave a bag with food lying around because it is gone including the contents. herb plantation unfortunately does not amount to much 3 herbs seen. since I had previously been to another plantation with a lot of herbs this was a disappointment, but ... it was well taken care of we were given a meal after the waterfall and then taken back to our boarding point. it was a beautiful experience, definitely do it.
