The turtle rescue rehab programme at the cairns acquarium was really informative and interesting. This was followed by our tour of cairns city. Tropical botanical gardens was well worth visiting. St Monica’s cathedral with its full length stained glass windows, are the largest in the world was awesome. Palm coast beach where we walked the pier and the view of the city from a high point. Lastly yummy scones topped off with jam and cream. Graham our tour guide was very friendly, and had a wealth of knowledge regarding cairns and the surrounding area.★

Thanks to the boat crew who tried to engage us despite the language barrier. Thanks to Dundees Restaurant who served us diligently, with a smile and without restrictions on the menu. A special thanks to Chris on the bus who made himself accessible to everyone, speaking more slowly, often explaining with humor and who passionately showed us the city of Cairns and its surroundings.★

I would highly recommend this tour. They pack a lot in to a half day tour. Terrific value. Our tour guide, Chris was excellent. He provided a lot of information especially about sugar cane. St. Monica Cathedral has the most beautiful stained glass windows I’ve seen. James was a wonderful curator and shared just enough to make me do a second visit on my last day in Cairns. I enjoyed the Botanic Gardens. You won’t regret this tour. The dinner cruise was a nice way to end the day.★

I enjoyed this tour despite the fact that it was short. It's a great introductory tour to the main places around Cairns. While it was slightly rainy towards the end of the tour, it was still good to see the main places. Our tour guides were great, and their added commentary and humour added to the fun. Definitely go for it if you'd like a quick introduction to the city.
