Aan picked me up at my hostel and we went together to the mountain. The drive was smooth and quick. He is a very nice guy to talk to and his English is pretty good! Aan was also very attentive, the walk up the stairs is pretty long so he offered me to stop a few times, got me some water for the way and was equipped with really good quality flashlights, which was a great plus. We didn't get to see too much activity but that was out of our control. Still had a good time. 10/10 recommend

There was a small problem with the pick-up, and my car was assigned to another team, which took a while. The route was fine, Borobudur and Prambanan are worth visiting, but seeing the volcano depends on luck.
