Reviews: The Legendary Walking Tour of Galway
Guest User2025-04-11
I can't recommend this walking tour of Galway highly enough—it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Walking through the charming streets of the city while learning about its rich and fascinating history was such a treat. What made the experience truly exceptional was our guide, Neil. He was simply fabulous—engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour that kept  everyone entertained. You could tell he was passionate about Galway’s past, and he brought the stories of the city to life in a way that was both informative and fun. Whether you're a history buff or just curious about Galway,  this tour is a must-do. Thanks again to Neil for making it such a memorable experience!  Katie and Matt from Hertfordshire

Reviews: Galway City Walking Tour

We met up with Brian Nolan our guide near the Spanish Arch for our private tour. He proceeded to take us to the Galway City Museum keeping us amused there and managed to keep us together up Quay and High Street, no small feat pointing out several features and regaling us in folklore and history. Time well spent that made us appreciate this part of Ireland.

The tour was varied, the weather wasn't perfect but it was still good. Personally, there was a bit too much information about everything, but that's a matter of taste. Overall, it was interesting and told with a lot of humor.
