I was worried there would be complications, but everything went quite smoothly, both getting the QR code for entry and sharing it. The train itself was magnificent, a true immersion into Japanese adventures right after landing in Osaka. I really enjoyed it; I'll be choosing this train every time I fly to Osaka.

I'm very grateful to Ctrip for making it so convenient to buy international train tickets. I printed out the QR code and brought it with me. I redeemed my ticket at the white machine at the JR entrance of Terminal 1 at Kansai Airport. The machine has a Chinese language option. After redeeming my ticket, I entered the station through the manual channel and took the escalator down one level to Platform 3, which is where the Hello Kitty shuttle bus is located.


