The aquarium is incredibly impressive, and 2 hours is definitely not enough to leisurely explore even part of the complex. More time would have been helpful, with the visitor hours being aligned with the dolphin show. The Pineapple Park was a bit of a disappointment, as there were far too few pineapples. And there wasn't enough time for the distillery :( The tour schedule was very tight. The stops at Cape Manzano are also worth extending by 5 minutes in November to catch the beautiful sunset! The shopping stops were definitely the least appealing to me, as there were too many of them, especially since all these things can be purchased in Naha or at the airport. The experience was incredible and definitely a must-see for a visit to Okinawa. As for the tour itself, unfortunately, the guide's English was poor, and there was an incident during our trip. Google Translate would definitely have been helpful. The audio guide we received on the bus was difficult to understand in English due to her strong accent and low volume.

We had a wonderful kayak tour with our guide, Hiro. This was such a peaceful, pleasant morning. Hiro met us at the parking lot and we headed out to sea, kayaking among the coral rock formations. We stopped to swim at a secluded beach and explored a nearby cave. Hiro then led us along a path to a sea salt operation. Very cool. We kayaked back and ended our tour. Hiro took some fantastic photos of our outing. Truly a memorable day on a peaceful, gorgeous island.

I was surprised that the guide spoke no English, but he had a great attitude and was as helpful as possible. Same for the driver. All in all, an excellent day

Who is interested to dive deep in to Ruykuy culture and history find with Karola the best foreign guide you could imagine. She is affiliated with the local community and can open you a window to a quite hidden culture and society, so rich, deep and complex it totally blows my mind. Some times less is more: just a little stroll, a nice chat, few old places and cup of tea. Every sentence from her just scratches the surface of her knowledge. On top of that she was so helpful, kind and natural, please give this guide some time and listen carefully.


