I bought this ticket because I was traveling between Fukuyama and Osaka, and also going to Kyoto and Kobe. It was quite convenient to use. The only problem was that when I was returning to Osaka from Fukuyama, all other trains were sold out, so I had to pay a premium to get on a different train, which cost me over 100 RMB per person. Also, when returning to Osaka from Kyoto, I accidentally boarded the Hayabusa Express and later learned I needed to exchange it for a limited express ticket. However, when the conductor asked if it was a free pass, they didn't ask further.★

enjoyed the trip very much. from booking to redeem, all good. it just that i wish i knew that the Reserved Seat ticket is actually limited to 5 times only. so plan your trip well, especially when in Tottori & Shimane, the express train mostly only All Seat Reserved Seat★

Although the price has increased, it's a fantastic value, with a 7-day Shinkansen and express train ticket costing the full amount. Redemption is easy at Kansai Airport, with designated seats available at the green window. JR Passes allow you to use sleeping trains, but you'll need to pay for express trains and beds.★
