This day trip to Ninh Binh, Hanoi, was truly worthwhile. Taking a boat trip on the Long Bay, gliding through the mountains and water, was both scenic and relaxing. The rocky cliffs and rice paddies along the way were incredibly soothing, and the boat ride itself was fun. Afterwards, we visited the Hoa Ge historical site, where we could feel the depth of Vietnamese history and culture – a wonderful journey combining nature and humanity.★

The one-day tour was full of attractions, and the explanations and consideration for travelers during the trip were excellent. We booked the 3-star tour for our Ha Long Bay excursion, and it was absolutely excellent and well-organized from start to finish. The experience far exceeded our expectations.
Our guide, Tung, was fantastic—humorous, knowledgeable, and efficient, making the day both fun and informative.
The boat itself was a highlight: modern, spotless, and clearly well-maintained. We noticed it stood out compared to others in the marina. It felt genuinely luxurious, featuring reclinable chairs on deck and even a jacuzzi.
The seafood lunch on board was fresh and the service was great throughout. While drinks were not included, they were reasonably priced for a tourist attraction.★

Booking was easy, I had to go to the pickup spot since I was out of the pickup radius but it was all super great. Driver was very nice and accommodating and spoke ok English. The bus was very comfortable and AC was full blast. 10/10 for $15.
