Reviews: Queenstown Milford Sound 1-day tour | Panoramic bus + cruise + optional lunch
Guest User2025-11-25
The driver was very responsible, picking up passengers at 7:00 AM and driving them until 8:00 PM. With only one person driving and guiding, it was truly exhausting. Along the same route, they encountered many day tour groups and professional tour groups, and the driver also had to ensure that no passenger got lost.

It was a fantastic experience. The teacher's explanations were very engaging, and I learned a lot. I learned how to identify the Southern Cross, Alpha Beta Centauri, and that the brightest star is Sirius. Gazing at the starry sky and listening to the explanations, and afterwards enjoying hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows, plus a group photo under the stars, it was all unforgettable.

It was a very pleasant experience. Although the trip was a bit long, the driver was very friendly and enthusiastic. He explained the local history, customs, and landscapes along the way. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot. The fjord cruise staff were also very friendly and explained the fjord landscape. We saw many waterfalls along the way.
Reviews: Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony Penguin Night Viewing (Standard/VIP Stands)
Guest User2025-11-04
There were many visitors, and many penguins were returning to their nests tonight. The penguins returned in two directions: most went towards the VIP seating area, while a small number went towards the regular seating area. However, those going towards the regular seating area simply crossed the seats, some even running around our feet, allowing for close observation. We sat down at 8 PM and waited about 40 minutes before the penguins returned. We sat until 10 PM, finally getting tired and leaving on their own, though some penguins were still on their way back. There were probably several hundred tonight. On the way to get our car outside, we saw many penguins by the roadside and in the grass, which was quite amusing. Photography was not allowed; we had to remain quiet. The order stated ticket check-in was at 7:45 PM, but we arrived at 6:30 PM and were still able to exchange our tickets and explore. I recommend arriving early, before dark, to see many other animals and take photos. I'm dissatisfied with the two different prices on Ctrip; isn't that deceiving customers?
